Minimum Qualifications

  • Minimum of 18 years of age

  • High School diploma or GED equivalent

  • Valid Driver's License

  • State of Wisconsin Firefighter I

  • State of Wisconsin EMT certificate

2 Step Application Process

Step 1: Apply with City of Waukesha by
July 28, 2025 - 5:00 pm CT
(Mandatory)

 

Step 2: Test with Public Safety Answers by
August 1, 2025 - 11:59 pm CT
(Mandatory)

Test fee of $50 required. Financial hardship requests can be sent to: kstefan@waukesha-wi.gov
