Ready to fulfill your dreams of becoming a firefighter?  We're looking for like minded individuals who identify with our ideals and can carry out our mission statement in each and every interaction with citizens of our great community. 

Minimum Qualifications

  • Possession of a valid driver’s license

  • Possession of a high school diploma or GED

  • Must be at least 18 years of age

  • Must possess, or able to acquire, a CPAT within 6 months of written exam

  • Must possess, or able to obtain, a Arizona drivers license with no significant citations within the last 39 months

  • Must possess an Arizona Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) Certification or National Registry equivalent

2 Step Application Process

Step 1: Apply with Tolleson
Fire Department by:
August 28, 2023 - 11:59 p.m.

Step 2: Complete Testing and Video Interview with Public Safety Answers by:
August 31, 2023 - 11:59 pm

 

Test fee of $50 required. Financial hardship requests can be sent to:
