Departmental Benefits

  • Firefighter EMT Salary Range:
    $57,941.06 - $77,646.56​

  • Firefighter CEP Salary Range:
    $66,941.06 - $86,646.56​

  • Candidates currently working as fulltime, paid firefighters may be eligible to receive service time credit of 2:1 towards pay and other eligible benefits​

  • 48/96 work schedule

  • Medical/Dental Insurance/Optional Vision/Health Savings Account

  • Life, Long term, and AD&D Insurance

  • Arizona PSPRS, 457b, 401a, PEHP plans

Minimum Qualifications

  • Must possess a High school diploma (GED) or equivalent

  • Must possess, or able to obtain by hire date, a valid Arizona Driver’s License

  • Must be at least 18 years of age at the time of employment

  • Must possess, or able to obtain by hire date, a current Arizona State Emergency Medical Care Technician (EMCT)​​
