Firefighter EMT and Firefighter Paramedic Applications
June 2, 2025 - June 25, 2025


We're looking for like minded individuals who identify with our ideals and can carry out our mission statement in each and every interaction with citizens of our great community.
Minimum Qualifications
-
Legally authorized to work in the United States
-
18 years of age or older
-
High School diploma or GED equivalent
-
Valid Firefighter Certificate of Compliance issued by the State of Florida
-
Valid Florida EMT certificate/license
-
Valid CPR/BLS Certification
-
Valid EVOC Certificate
-
Must be currently enrolled in Paramedic school


2 Step Application Process
Step 1: Apply with St. Lucie County by
June 25, 2025 - 4:30 pm ET
Step 2: Test and Complete Video Interview with Public Safety Answers by:
June 25, 2025 - 4:30 pm ET
Test fee of $50 required.

Cost of the assessment does not go to St. Lucie County Fire District
​
Test fee will be reimbursed by St. Lucie County Fire District for those individuals who are hired, processed, and attend orientation.
