Ready to fulfill your dreams of becoming a Firefighter EMT or Paramedic?  We're looking for like minded individuals who identify with our ideals and can carry out our mission statement in each and every interaction with citizens of our great community.

Minimum Requirements

  • Valid Florida Class D driver’s license with E endorsement.

  • Valid EMT I OR Paramedic certification

  • State of Florida Firefighting Minimum Standards Certification

2 Step Process

Step 1: Apply with City of South Daytona by:
November 12, 2025 - 8:00 pm ET.
 

Step 2: Complete Testing and Video Interview with Public Safety Answers by:
November 12, 2025 - 8:00 pm ET.

First 25 Applicant's Test Fee paid by Department.   $50 Test fee.
