Minimum Qualifications

Must be at least 18 years of age

Must possess a valid Driver's License

Must have a High School Diploma or GED equivalent

Must possess a current Arizona State or Nationally Registered Certified Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) or Paramedic certification

Must possess a current Candidate Physical Agility Test (CPAT) within the last year (December 11, 2025 – December 11, 2026)
2 Step Process
Step 1: Apply with City of Prescott by
December 11, 2026 - 11:59pm
Step 2: Complete testing with Public Safety Answers by December 18, 2026 - 11:59 pm*
