Minimum Qualifications

Possess the following required certifications: ICS 100, 200, 300, 700 and 800
-
NFPA 1026 Incident Command certification such as Blue Card Incident Command or other recognized alternative

Fire Officer 1 certification meeting NFPA 1021
-
Fire Service Instructor 1 certification meeting NFPA 1041
-
Incident Safety Officer certification meeting NFPA 1521
-
NWCG S-215; Fire Operations in the WUI certification
-
NWCG S-231 Engine Boss certification
-
Either 5 years of experience. including at least 1 year as a Captain in a similar sized organization OR Seven (7) years of experience, including at least two (2) years serving as an Engineer, alongside the experience, training, knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to perform the work
