Minimum Qualifications

Between the ages of 18 and 35, not having reached your 36th birthday by date of hire (January 16, 2026)

High school diploma or GED by date of hire (January 16, 2026)

Texas driver’s license or the ability to obtain one within 3 months of date of hire

Background check with no felonies

Structural Firefighting certification from TCFP or IFSAC Seals in FF I, FF II, Hazmat Awareness and Hazmat Ops, or able to obtain either prior to the start date (January 16, 2026) NOT REQUIRED, PREFERRED

State of Texas EMT basic or National Registry EMT or able to obtain either prior to the start date (January 16, 2026) NOT REQUIRED, PREFERRED
