Ready to fulfill your dreams of becoming a firefighter?  We're looking for like minded individuals who identify with our ideals and can carry out our mission statement in each and every interaction with citizens of our great community. 

Minimum Qualifications

  • Must be at least 18 years of age by application date

  • ​Must be a US Citizen or Legal Resident

  • Must have a high school diploma or GED

  • Applicants must have certification(s) that fall into one of the following 3 categories at the time of application.
    Preference will be given to applicants in the following order:

    • TCFP Firefighter with Texas DSHS Paramedic or NREMT Paramedic

    • Texas DSHS Paramedic or NREMT Paramedic only

    • TCFP Firefighter with Texas DSHS EMT or NREMT EMT
