Ready to fulfill your dreams of becoming a firefighter EMT or paramedic?  We're looking for like minded individuals who identify with our ideals and can carry out our mission statement in each and every interaction with citizens of our great community. 

Minimum Qualifications

  • Must be at least 18 years of age by application date.

  • Must have a high school diploma or GED

  • Must have completed coursework towards one of the following at the time of application:

    • Basic Firefighter Certification

    • EMT Certification

    • Paramedic License

3 Step Application Process

Step 1: Apply with
McKinney Fire Department by:
January 31, 2024 - 11:59 pm (Mandatory)
 

Step 2: Complete Testing and Video Interview with Public Safety Answers by:
February 5, 2024 - 11:59 pm (Mandatory)

Step 3: Register to attend 
The Fire Interview Seminar hosted by McKinney Fire Department:
(Highly Recommended)
