Firefighter Paramedic Pay:

$69,341.63 not including FLSA overtime, effective September 18, 2025​

Minimum Qualifications
-
​18 years of age at time of hire
-
High school diploma or GED equivalent
-
Valid Driver's License
-
Paramedic or FF/EMT-B Certification
-
Certification for, or able to obtain by time of offer, Firefighter from Texas Commission on Fire Protection (TCFP)
Timeline

Physical Ability Testing begins the week of October 16 and 17, 2025 if needed

Background investigations will occur

Peer review board will occur November 10 - 14, 2025
