Ready to fulfill your dreams of becoming a firefighter?  We're looking for capable individuals who are excited to serve the citizens of our great community through a career in firefighting and emergency response.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Must be at least 18 years of age at the time of examination​​

​

  • Must have a high school diploma or GED equivalent by time of examination

​

  • Must be a US citizen or legally authorized to work in the United State​

​​

  • Must be currently certified as a Firefighter I and II, Haz Mat Awareness and Operations by the Utah Fire and Rescue Academy or any International Fire Service Accreditation Congress (IFSAC) accredited agency. OR enrolled in a Firefighter I and II, Haz Mat Awareness, and Operations accredited program, and will it be completed in the next 9 months

  • Must currently hold a Utah and/or National Registry AEMT or Paramedic certification or currently enrolled in AEMT or Paramedic course

Step 1 - Must Apply with The City of Logan by May 23, 2025 - 5:00 pm MT

Step 2 - Test with
Public Safety Answers by
May 27, 2025 - 5:00 pm MT*

*Applicants without City applications completed by May 23, 2025 at 5:00pm will not be considered!
