Departmental Benefits

  • Firefighter I/EMT Basic - $55,834 - $69,792

  • Firefighter II/Advanced EMT - $58,626 - $73,282

  • Firefighter III/Advanced EMT - $63,316 - $85,476

  •  

  • Firefighter I/Paramedic - $69,792 - $83,750

  • Firefighter II/Paramedic - $72,583 - $87,240

  • Firefighter III/Paramedic - $77,273 - $99,434

Lateral applicants - starting wage based on years of experience and certifications obtained. Year for year credit for experience at other comparable Municipal or District Fire Departments will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis.

$2,000 signing bonus for candidates with more than 1 year full-time equivalent service

Minimum Qualifications

  • Must possess a High school diploma (GED) or equivalent

  • Must possess, or able to obtain by hire date, a valid Utah Driver’s License

  • Must possess, or able to obtain by July 27, 2026, Utah state or National Registry EMT-B Certification

Testing period will occur between July 29 - August 5, 2026.

Qualified Candidates will be provided a test link by the department.
