Requirements

Must be 18-40 years of age

Valid Drivers License

Be a U.S. Citizen

No Felony Convictions

Must possess a High School Diploma/GED
-
Civilian Nationally Registered Paramedic (will be sent to Fire Academy)

Current Indiana/National Registry EMT-B License
-
EMT-B must hold Indiana Firefighter I & II Certifications
-
CPAT testing must be completed before August 8, 2025 if not lateral Firefighter
-
Laterals must already be a member of INPRS
-
Department Physical Agility Test required
* Preference Points for Military, Paramedic,and/or Lateral Transfers
