Must be at least 21 years of age but under 40 by appointment date

Must possess High School Diploma or GED and ability to attain certifications by State of Indiana as Firefighter I/II, Hazards Materials Awareness and Operations Level, and Emergency Medical Technician are required within nine (9) months of hire date. Ability to complete other required training programs including continuing education. Must attain State of Indiana Hazardous Materials Technician Certification, Driver/Operator Pumper, and Technical Rescue Awareness within twenty-four (24) months of appointment.
