Mission

"To protect the lives, property, and environment of the people who live, work, play, and travel in Gilbert by":

​

  • Serving with integrity, trust, and respect

  • Rapid and effective emergency response

  • Innovative prevention, compliance, and community outreach efforts

  • Maintenance of a highly trained and dedicated work force

​​​​​​​

  • Must be 18 years of age, or older at time of hire

​

  • Must have a high school diploma or GED

​

  • Must possess, or able to obtain a valid Arizona driver's license​​ by date of hire

​

  • Must possess a current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Professional Provider certification from American Heart Association or American Safety and Health Institute (EMT Only)

​

  • Must possess a current state of Arizona EMT basic, certification, or national registry certification in good standing at time of application (EMT Only)

​​​

  • Must possess a current Arizona Emergency Paramedic Certification or National Registry Paramedic at time of application (Paramedic Only)

​​

  • Must possess a current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) from American Heart Association (AHA) or American Safety & Health Institute (ASHI) , and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certifications at time of application (Paramedic Only)​​
