Ready to fulfill your dreams of becoming a Firefighter? Gainesville Fire Rescue works closely with Brothers in Action (BIA) to introduce the world of emergency services to locally diverse audiences. We're looking to send qualified candidates to Firefighter and EMT school.
Minimum Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age​

Possess a High School Diploma or GED equivalent​

A valid Driver's license​

Must live within the city limits of Gainesville, FL​

Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.
* Must meet low income standards for scholarship. Income may vary based upon members in household.
