Ready to fulfill your dreams of becoming a Certified Firefighter? We're looking for like minded individuals who identifies with our ideals and can carry out our mission statement in each and every interaction with citizens of our great community.
Minimum Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.

Must have a high school diploma or GED equivalent.

Must possess a valid Florida drivers license (Class D or Commercial Drivers license valid for driving emergency vehicles.)

Complete and Pass the Public Safety Answers (PSA) test

Candidate Physical Ability Test (CPAT) – Must be current and valid at the time of application.

EMT or Paramedic Certification-Must be certified by the State of Florida or National Registry by February 1, 2026.

Firefighter I & II Certifications- Must be certified by the State of Florida or hold an equivalent certification by February 1, 2026.
