Minimum Qualifications

Must be at least 18 years of age

High School Diploma or GED equivalent

Current, valid Firefighter Certificate of Compliance, Certificate of Statutory Compliance, or Certificate of Training issued by the State of Florida
-
Florida Paramedic License and ACLS card or Nationally registered Paramedic transferable to Florida
-
American Heart Association BLS - CPR & AED CARD or BLS for Healthcare Provider card by American Red Cross (CPR &AED)
-
American Heart Association (ACLS) card
-
EVOC (16-hour) Certificate issued by a certified Florida agency
-
Candidate Physical Ability Test (CPAT) by The National Testing Network
