Ready to fulfill your dreams of becoming a firefighter EMT or paramedic? We're looking for like minded individuals who identifies with our ideals and can carry out our mission statement in each and every interaction with citizens of our great community.
Minimum Qualifications

Must be at least 18 years of age.

Must have a high school diploma of GED equivalent.

Must possess a valid Florida Class E driver's license or ability to obtain by hire date.

Must possess EVOC (16-hour) Certificate issued by a certified Florida agency.

Must possess a current, valid Firefighter Certificate of Compliance, Certificate of Statutory Compliance, or Certificate of Training issued by the State of Florida.

Must possess either a State of Florida EMT License or Paramedic License.

Must possess BLS for Healthcare Providers offered by Red Cross (CPR and AED) ***OR*** American Heart Association – BLS for Healthcare Providers (CPR and AED)
*CPAT and Swim card must be emailed no later than
5:00 pm EST, October 21, 2024 to: CBotting@fortlauderdale.gov
