The City of Deerfield Beach is bringing its municipal fire rescue department back home, with the department scheduled to be fully operational in October 2027. This transition marks the return of locally led fire rescue services to Deerfield Beach and the beginning of a new chapter for an organization with a proud history of serving the community. Today, the city is rebuilding the organization, assembling its team, revitalizing its infrastructure and establishing the operational foundation, resources and culture that will shape the future of Deerfield Beach Fire Rescue.
