Ready to fulfill your dreams of becoming a Firefighter? We're looking for like minded individuals who identify with our ideals and can carry out our mission statement in each and every interaction with citizens of our great community. 

Minimum Qualifications

  • Must possess a High School Diploma or GED

  • Must possess a valid Texas Driver's License without 3 or more moving violations in the last 3 years

  • Must possess a valid Texas Department of State Health Services (DSHS) EMT Basic certification

  • Must possess a Texas Commission of Fire Protection (TCFP) Firefighter Basic certification

  • No felony conviction in the last 7 years

  • No DUI, DWI, suspension, revocation, or denial of your driver's license in the last 3 years

Step 1: Must Apply with City of Colleyville by
March 27, 2026 - 11:59pm 


Step 2: Must Test with Public Safety Answers by
March 27, 2026 - 8:00 pm CT
