Calwell Fire Department is a progressive, community-focused department committed to protecting and serving at the highest level. Minimum Requirements

Must possess a high school diploma or GED equivalent

Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record and insurable under the City's carrier

State of Idaho or NREMT EMT or Paramedic certification or the ability to obtain within 90 days of a job offer

Must successfully pass a physical ability assessment

Subject to a comprehensive pre-hire NFPA medical physical examination.
Compensation/Benefits

Starting Pay: $71,081.92 ($24.41/hr.)
-
Paramedic Incentive: Eligible paramedics may receive a one-time sign-on bonus of up to $3,000.00 and an additional $1.25 per hour paramedic incentive pay.
