Minimum Qualifications

Must be at least 18 years of age. (Required)

High school diploma or GED equivalent. (Required)

Must possess, or able to obtain before hire date, valid Texas Class C Driver's License. (Required)

Must be certified Firefighter EMT OR Firefighter Paramedic in Texas. (Required)

Must be a citizen of the United States. (Required)

Must pass a criminal background check, drug screening, and psychological evaluation.

Successfully pass the Physical Agility Test (PAT).

Pass a comprehensive medical physical evaluation by a department physician.
