Minimum Qualifications

  • Must possess a High School diploma or GED equivalent

  • Must possess, or able to obtain by hire date, a valid State of Florida Firefighter Certificate

  • Must possess a valid State of Florida Paramedic Certificate

  • Must possess a valid State of Florida Class "E" Driver's license

2 Step Application Process

Step 1: Apply with City of Oakland Park by:
August 14, 2026 - 5:00 pm ET.
 

Step 2: Complete Testing and Video Interview with Public Safety Answers by:
August 14, 2026 - 5:00 pm ET.
