Minimum Requirements
LATERAL FIREFIGHTER:
Must be 18 years or older at time of employment
Must have a high school diploma or GED certificate
Must be eligible to work in the U.S.
Must successfully pass applicable background screenings
Must possess or able to obtain by the time of hire a valid Arizona driver's license and have an acceptable driving record
Must have a current ADHS or nationally registered EMT or Paramedic certificate
Must have a Arizona Firefighter II, or Pro Board or IFSAC certification
Minimum of two-years of experience with an agency with comparable call volume providing sufficient experience to be able to perform the essential functions of the job.
